Kanapitsa is an advanced dive site off the southern coast of Skiathos in the Sporades, reaching 30 meters along a rocky underwater ridge. The site's position between Skiathos and the Tsougrias islets creates current channels that attract schooling fish including barracuda and amberjack. The reef walls are adorned with colorful sponges and gorgonians, while overhangs shelter groupers and moray eels. Kanapitsa combines the lush marine life typical of the Sporades with exciting topography and occasional pelagic encounters.
