Pointe Montagnier is a majestic wall dive of the Grande Vigie cluster. The face runs cleanly from around 12 metres down to 25 metres, and the site earns its reputation as a hunting-fish hotspot: predator species work the reef edge here in numbers you do not often see on the calmer west-coast sites. Barracudas, jacks and groupers all move through the beat regularly. Accessible only from June to October, managed on the day. Advanced Open Water preferred and worth the boat ride from the Port-Louis harbour.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
