Playa El Morro Las Anclas is a beginner-friendly shore dive near Águilas on the Murcian coast, with a maximum depth of 18 meters. The site takes its name from old anchors resting on the seabed, remnants of the area's maritime history that now serve as artificial reef structures. The rocky reef and sand bottom host a rich variety of Mediterranean species including octopuses, cuttlefish, and moray eels, while schools of bream and salema provide constant movement. The anchors have become colonized by sponges and algae, creating photogenic subjects for underwater photographers. Easy shore access and gentle conditions make this an ideal spot for all levels.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
