El Condecito is a challenging advanced dive site off the southern coast of Tenerife near Palm-Mar, featuring a submerged volcanic pinnacle rising from the deep sandy bottom. This site rewards experienced divers with encounters with large pelagic species including Atlantic bonito, amberjack, and occasionally hammerhead sharks passing in the blue. The pinnacle's walls are festooned with black coral, yellow cup corals, and large sea fans that thrive in the current-swept waters. Resident groupers and barracuda school around the structure, while eagle rays and sea turtles are regular visitors. Depths and currents make this a site for well-trained divers only.
