Calimera is a beginner-friendly dive site near Playa Blanca on the southern tip of Lanzarote, offering relaxed diving in warm, clear waters. The site features a volcanic reef system with gentle slopes, sandy channels, and scattered rock formations that create diverse habitats for Atlantic marine life. Parrotfish, ornate wrasse, and damselfish are constant companions, while cuttlefish and octopuses provide engaging encounters in the crevices. Angel sharks visit the sandy areas during winter, and the occasional sea turtle passes through. The calm conditions, easy access, and reliable visibility make Calimera an ideal choice for training dives, try-dives, and leisurely exploration of Lanzarote's southern marine ecosystem.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
