Arguineguín Reef is an intermediate dive site off the southern coast of Gran Canaria near the fishing village of Arguineguín, reaching 20 meters depth. This volcanic reef features a rich underwater landscape of rock formations, sandy areas, and small overhangs that support a thriving marine community. Stingrays and angel sharks are regularly found on the sandy patches, while the reef hosts groupers, moray eels, and dense schools of Atlantic fish. Green sea turtles cruise through the area, and trumpetfish are a constant presence. The southern coast's warm waters and generally calm conditions make Arguineguín Reef a comfortable intermediate dive with excellent chances of exciting marine encounters.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
