Añaza is a beginner-friendly shore dive near the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the island's eastern coast, reaching 18 meters depth. This urban dive site offers accessible diving along a volcanic reef adjacent to the capital city, where rocky formations and sandy areas create habitats for common Canarian species. Trumpetfish, cuttlefish, and octopuses are regularly spotted, while schools of damselfish and parrotfish add color to the dark volcanic substrate. The protected eastern coast provides calm conditions for most of the year, and the proximity to the capital makes Añaza a convenient after-work or training dive for Tenerife's diving community.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
