South Lagoona Reef is a beginner-friendly dive in the Strait of Tiran, Egypt's Red Sea, offering a sheltered and accessible introduction to Tiran's reef systems. The calm lagoon waters host beautiful hard coral formations and a diverse community of reef fish. Schools of anthias, chromis, and damselfish create a colorful backdrop, while moray eels and octopus hide in the coral heads. The gentle depth and minimal current make it perfect for less experienced divers or as a comfortable warm-up dive before tackling Tiran's more challenging sites.
