
Sha'ab Sharm is an advanced offshore reef near Marsa Alam known for its impressive wall diving and strong currents. The reef features steep drop-offs on multiple sides with walls decorated in vibrant soft corals, black coral bushes, and enormous gorgonian fans reaching over two meters across. Pelagic encounters are frequent with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and large barracuda schools. The reef top at 5-8 meters provides a colorful safety stop area with pristine hard coral formations. Requires experienced boat handling and precise current assessment.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
