Maheleg

Maheleg is a beginner-friendly reef near El Quseir featuring a sheltered bay with pristine coral gardens. The shallow reef flat is rich in hard corals, providing habitat for a colorful array of reef fish including parrotfish, wrasses, and triggerfish. Sandy areas between coral heads are home to garden eels and jawfish. The site's protected location ensures minimal current and excellent visibility, making it a reliable dive when conditions are unfavorable at more exposed sites along the coast.
