Thomas Reef - Straits of Tiran

Thomas Reef is an advanced dive site in the Strait of Tiran, the smallest and most action-packed of the four famous Tiran reefs. The compact reef is completely surrounded by deep water, creating a current-swept pinnacle that acts as a magnet for large pelagic species. Hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and massive schools of barracuda and jacks are regular sightings. The walls feature spectacular soft coral gardens and enormous gorgonian fans. Considered by many as the finest drift dive in the Sharm el-Sheikh area.
