Golden Blocks is a beginner-friendly dive site in Dahab named for the large golden-hued rock formations scattered across the sandy bottom. These natural structures create artificial reef habitats colonized by corals and sponges, attracting a surprising diversity of marine life. Schools of goatfish and snappers circle the blocks, while moray eels and octopus hide in the crevices. The sandy areas between blocks host garden eels and blue-spotted stingrays. An easy and entertaining dive, particularly popular for night dives when the blocks come alive with nocturnal creatures.
