Pistol bay

Pistol Bay is an advanced dive near the Akamas Peninsula on Cyprus's northwestern coast. This exposed rocky point features stronger currents and deeper terrain than the nearby sheltered sites, creating conditions that attract larger Mediterranean marine life. The underwater rock formations include caves, overhangs, and dramatic boulder landscapes. Groupers, barracuda, and large amberjacks patrol the deeper sections, while the rocky walls host dense populations of damselfish and colorful sponges. The combination of current exposure, depth, and complex topography makes Pistol Bay a challenging and rewarding advanced dive in one of Cyprus's most pristine marine areas.
