HMS Cricket Wreck is an advanced dive site off Larnaca, Cyprus, lying at a depth of 30 meters. This World War I-era British gunboat was sunk in 1918 and now serves as one of Cyprus's most historically significant wreck dives. The vessel has deteriorated considerably over a century, but the boiler, propeller, and hull sections remain identifiable. Marine life has thoroughly colonized the wreck, with groupers, lionfish, and nudibranchs inhabiting the structure. Visibility is generally good, and the surrounding sandy bottom creates a stark contrast with the encrusted wreckage. The depth and potential currents require advanced certification and proper dive planning.
