El Salto

El Salto (The Jump) is an advanced deep dive to 40 meters off Chile's central coast near Los Molles. This dramatic underwater cliff features a sheer vertical drop-off from the shallow reef into the deep Pacific waters below. The wall face is covered with cold-water corals, large sponges, and dense anemone colonies, while pelagic species patrol the blue water beyond the edge. The combination of significant depth, strong Humboldt Current exposure, and the dramatic wall profile make El Salto one of the most exhilarating advanced dives on Chile's central coast.
