The MarÃa Elizabeth Wreck off Antofagasta is an intermediate wreck dive on a vessel resting on the Pacific seafloor. This shipwreck has become an artificial reef attracting diverse marine life, with the hull structure providing shelter for resident fish, octopus, and dense invertebrate growth. The Humboldt Current waters ensure good nutrient supply, keeping the wreck covered in colorful encrusting organisms. Moderate depths and manageable conditions make this wreck accessible to certified intermediate divers looking for their first Chilean wreck diving experience.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
