
Outer Rock is a beginner-friendly dive site in Tasmania, Australia. At 16 meters depth, this exposed rock formation offers excellent temperate diving with kelp-covered walls and diverse invertebrate life. The site features beautiful sponge gardens, sea tulips, and colonies of bryozoans. Marine residents include crayfish, abalone, octopus, and various wrasse species. The outer position occasionally brings stronger currents that attract schools of fish, adding excitement to this accessible dive.
